The electronics sector is an ever-growing industry. With the world rapidly turning digital, manual and outdated solutions no longer achieve desirable results. As one of the fastest-growing semiconductor companies, Achronix Semiconductor Corporation understands the need for adaptability. It creates advanced solutions that simplify complex electronic sourcing and processing.
Organizations must stay updated with market trends to modify their requirements and objectives. Achronix’s customer-centric approach ensures enterprises meet their goals efficiently while securing customer satisfaction. The current landscape emphasizes innovations and digitization. Achronix Semiconductor Corporation provides high-tech accessibility by developing high-performance FPGA solutions.
The present-day semiconductor industry faces many challenges, such as data latency, lack of customer-specific tools, poor front-end built output manufacturing, and limited end-to-end supply chain visibility. Achronix designs efficient and practical models to combat these issues and make the sector more accessible. Achronix is the only supplier with high-performance and high-density FPGAs and embedded FPGA (eFPGA) solutions in high volumes that work independently.
Achronix walks an extra mile and further enhances its FPGA and eFPGA using read-to-use accelerator cards targeting AI/ML, networking, and data center applications. Excellent and world-class EDA software tools back every Achronix product.
Founded in 2004, Achronix Semiconductor Corporation has decades of experience. It uses its knowledge and expertise to create effective and advanced products to make the semiconductor industry easy to navigate and more convenient. Achronix’s Speedster7t FPGA product supports high-bandwidth workloads, unlike traditional FPGAs with weaker infrastructures.
“Achronix is truly a disruptive semiconductor company with highly differentiated data acceleration FPGA products complemented with a highly innovative embedded FPGA IP business model,” said Robert Blake, CEO of Achronix Semiconductor Corporation.
Speedster7t FPGA was built on TSMC’s 7nm FinFET processes. Its robust processes help it support new 2D network-on-chip and advanced machine learning processors for optimizing high-bandwidth, AI/ML workloads, high-bandwidth GDDR6 interfaces, 400G Ethernet, and PCI Express Gen5 ports. All Speedster7t FPGA features are interconnected to deliver maximum ASIC-level performance while maintaining its total capacity.
The 2D network-on-chip comprises over 29 terabytes of bandwidth, interconnects internal functional blocks and FPGA fabric, reduces route congestion, and simplifies the FPGA layout. Speedster7t FPGA’s high-speed PCIe Gen5 interface carries up to 112 GPBS SerDes, works on 400G Ethernet, has GDDR6 memory, and up to eight controllers.
The in-built ML processes in Speedster7t FPGA provide speed up to 750 MHz and a fully flexible integer accumulator that works with 5G Infrastructure, computational storage, test and measurement, AI/ML, networking, and compute acceleration.
Achronix’s Speedcore embedded FPGA (eFPGA) IP provides the power and flexibility required to program logic to ASICs and SoCs. It lets customers integrate a Speedcore eFPGA into an ASIC or SoC for enhanced performance, compute-intensive and real-time processes like AI, machine learning, wireless 5G networking, storage, and automation.
An embedded eFPGA is an IP core embedded inside a custom ASIC or SoC device. Unlike a standalone FPGA, eFPGA designers can choose the exact amount of logic, DSP, 2D NoC, and memory space needed to optimize customer applications. An eFPGA is compatible with flexible models that reduce system costs, power, and board space by removing excessive features.
Achronix’s VectorPath S7t-VG6 accelerator card reduces market time while designing high-performance compute and acceleration functions for AI, ML, networking, and data center operations. It supports Achronix’s high-performance Speedster7t AC7t1500 FPGA embedded on TSMC’s 7nm FinFET technology.
VectorPath S7t-VG6 provides 400G and 200G Ethernet interfaces, four terabytes of GDDR6 memory bandwidth, and a complete set of tools and software, allowing companies to start immediately. An AC7t1500 FPGA device displays unique specifications, such as:
- 692K 6-input LUTs (1,522K 4-input LUT equivalents)
- 2,560 MLP blocks capable of 41K Int8 operations per cycle
- 2-dimensional NoC capable of >27 Tbps
- Up to 86 TOps int8 performance
- ResNet-50 benchmark: 8,600 images per second
- Up to 4 Tbps of GDDR6 bandwidth
Achronix works alongside leading independent vendors who help system designers create system-level designs for Achronix FPGA and eFPGA. With its partners’ tools, expertise, and support, Achronix develops design cycles, simplifies complex electronic systems, and accelerates market time.
